Delhi Police has removed environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk from Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and admitted her to a nearby hospital. During this time, Delhi Police also detained Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Deepke, information about which Deepke himself had tweeted.
Now political reactions are being seen on this. This post of Deepke has been re-posted by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray. Aditya Thackeray has called this action shameful. He has called this action against democracy.
What a shame!
The world watches democracy in India being broken by force, shamelessly.
Even peaceful protests for students against an incompetent minister are not tolerated anymore. https://t.co/jL4WSuhsLK

Attempt to suppress Parliament march before monsoon session?
Questions are being raised on the action of Delhi Police because this action has been taken 48 hours before the proposed march to Parliament on Monday, the first day of the monsoon session. CJP is going to march to Parliament on 20th July. Wangchuk had also appealed to the people to participate in this by sharing a video. He had said that a large number should join the CJP’s Parliament march because public participation is the biggest strength of this movement. After this appeal, questions are being raised regarding the police action whether the government is trying to suppress the Parliament march movement before the monsoon session?
