Jio’s 5G service is also available in these states of Odisha- Reliance Jio is gradually covering the states of the country. Continuously the company is extending its 2G service to one state after another.
This time Jio has announced its 5G facility in Odisha. In an event organized by Jio, Union Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has announced 5G in Odisha.
Jio showcased 5G network use case in the state and launched its 2G services in two states Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Let us know about this in detail.
Jio 5G services in both the states will be in beta stage now and more towns and cities will get 5G services by February 2023. Reliance Jio announced its two 5G services in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack in Odisha. Bhubaneswar is the capital of Orissa, while Cuttack has a large number of students.
Jio 5G service in the regions will be provided through a welcome offer. This means that only select people who have a supported phone will be able to get 5G service.
Jio has promised 1 Gbps+ speed without any extra charges. You don’t need to switch to any other plan to have 5G service, for starters.
In fact, you can use 5G without changing your SIM and on your existing recharge plan. However, users will not have to pay any additional charges for using Jio 5G.
They have to recharge their Jio SIM with at least Rs 239 or above prepaid Airtel postpaid plan. After this, an invitation letter will be received from Jio to use the 2G network.
FiveG service will be launched in more towns and cities of Odisha. By February 2023, Jio 5G is said to reach Rourkela, Puri, Behrampur, Balasore and Sambalpur.
Recently Jio partnered with Motorola to achieve its 5G network. After this, 5G service is ready to be available on select Motorola smartphones.
